UCSB's Spring Into Green festival is meant to celebrate the Department of Recreation's commitment and investment in sustainable causes and encourage people to live healthier, more earth friendly lives.
We hope to connect UCSB students and the community to businesses and non-profits with similar goals. It is a 3-hour event that will showcase several sustainable resources such as renewable energy, fuel-efficient vehicles, transportation alternatives, recycling, reusing and other lifestyle practices to reduce waste.
The day will include music, activities, keynote speakers from campus and the community, giveaways and informational kiosks about the building's sustainable points of interest.
