TRIKKE
INSTRUCTOR: John Simpson

Discover a whole new way to get yourself around campus on an amazing three-wheeled vehicle, the Trikke Carving Vehicle (“CV”). This green machine can reach up to 18mph on flat ground completely powered by you. And it is a Blast! Each class will give a low impact, highly effective full-body workout producing balance, endurance, strength, and agility. Riding a Trikke CV is a little like riding a bike and roller skating at the same time. By practicing the basic techniques of shifting your weight, leaning the vehicle from side to side and carving turns, you’ll be climbing hills and taking long endurance rides in no time. This class is designed for people with no experience. Additional required equipment includes a helmet and athletic shoes (no flip-flops please). Suggested equipment includes gloves and knee pads. You will receive your Trikke carving vehicle the first night of class. Please bring a credit card for a $35.00 deposit on your Trikke CV. This will allow you to use it for 8 weeks and then return it at the end of class!

VISION BOARD WORKSHOP
Manifesting Your Dreams: Excavating Your Heart’s Desires
INSTRUCTOR: Darcy Ritzau
BRING TO CLASS: Favorite magazines

Create a Vision Board to help you create the life you were meant to live. Using images and words, you will create a collage that reflects what your deepest desires are. Using this technique, you’ll discover what your heart truly wants for you. Are you unsure of your dreams? Do you think you don’t have any visions for the future? You do. This workshop will get you out of your head and into your heart. Take the steps necessary to achieve your goals by starting with a clear vision of what you want. If you can cut and glue, you can create a vision board. All materials will be provided. All you need to bring is an open mind, an open heart, and excitement at the possibilities in life.
