UCSB FitSquad is a new, fun, and FREE program designed to increase the overall health of staff and faculty at UCSB with specific emphasis on muscular fitness.

As a member of the UCSB staff or faculty, you will be provided the opportunity to participate in regular (two days per week) 20-minute strength-training workouts at a location near your office each week.

Each workout will be led by two nationally-certified personal trainers, will incorporate numerous pieces of equipment (e.g. dumbbells, resistance bands, physio balls, medicine balls, etc.), and is designed for ALL FITNESS LEVELS.

The FitSquad will compliment your work schedule and encourage participation during breaks or your lunch hour.

The second 10 week session is now underway, you can begin at any time.

Just look for the bright yellow FitSquad Car!

*Each group will participate twice per week in a Fit Squad session.

For example, if you participate in the Monday SAASB session at 10am, you can also attend the Wednesday session at 10am.
