The UCSB FIT SQUAD is a fun and FREE program and as a member of the UCSB staff or faculty, you can participate in regular (two days per week) 10-30-minute (depending on location) strength-training workouts at a location near your office each week.
All workouts are led by nationally-certified personal trainers, incorporate numerous pieces of equipment (e.g. dumbbells, resistance bands, physio balls, medicine balls, etc.), and are designed for ALL FITNESS LEVELS.

The UCSB FIT SQUAD is currently in its 2nd year and we’re achieving and exceeding our goals. On average, our participants are increasing upper body strength by 36%, lower body strength by 17%, abdominal strength by 16%, and flexibility by 15%.
