A water workout designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength. This challenging class, set to music, is for participants of all fitness levels and swimming abilities. Join us in the pool and enjoy the many benefits the water environment offers.
Debbie Miles-Dutton, UCSB Aquatics Coordinator, is one of the foremost specialists in the field of water exercise. She conducts classes and workshops both nationally and internationally in addition to teaching at UCSB. Debbie is co-creator and instructor trainer for AQUAMOTION®, an aerobic water workout with a fun splash.

Water Fitness Instructor Training
Are you interested in teaching water exercise classes? If so, then this class is for you! This course provides education and experience for beginning and intermediate instructors. Learn and apply current research, program formats and dynamic water specific movements while sharpening your teaching skills. This training is especially valuable for “land” fitness instructors wanting to cross-over into water fitness. Call 893-7616 for more information. Group discounts available. Next class tenatively scheduled for Spring 2005.
