Rec Cen Pools

 

The Recreation Center Aquatics complex is available to registered UCSB Students, Rec Cen Members and Day Pass Holders. Day Pass entry is $8 ($4 children) and can be purchased at the Rec Cen front desk. During the school year (September-May), children are only allowed entry on weekends and must be accompanied by a Rec Cen Member (other restrictions apply). During the summer, non-members (community) may bring children anyday with a day pass or Summer Family Membership purchase. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

 

Pool A

50 meter x 25 yard x 30 meter "L" pool including a diving well featuring two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards.
Pool temperature= 80°

Pool B

25 yard pool with attached 0-3 foot depth teaching area and handicap access ramp.
Pool temperature= 82°

 

Hours

Monday-Friday – 6:30am-9:00pm
Saturday – 8:00am-8:30pm
Sunday – 9:00am-8:30pm

Long Course Swimming (50 meters) available:
Weekdays – 6:30am-8:00am and 7:30pm-9:00pm
Weekends – All Day
   

Campus Pool

 
Campus Pool is an outdoor 50 meter x 25 yard pool which includes a diving tank with one 1-meter and one 3-meter diving board.
Pool temperature= 80°

 

Fitness Swim

Weekdays – 11:30am-1:00pm
$25 for a 20 swim punch card available at the Rec Cen Cashier's Office or at Campus Pool. (Checks only -no cash accepted- at Campus Pool.)
Fitness Swim is a great opportunity for faculty, staff and community adults to work out or just relax in the pool; kickboards and pull buoys are available. Not available on weekends or campus holidays.

Campus Pool is home to the Men's & Women's Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Teams.

 

Youth Water Polo & Swimming

Santa Barbara Swim Club
A competitive swimming program to children of all ages and swimming abilities. They can be reached at (805) 966-9757.
